THE STORY: He was everything She imagined.
An unexpected night offers the truth about the perfect dream date in an exploration of She’s psyche.
Date Night is at heart a quirky-psychological-dramedy, that runs the gauntlet of emotion and human desire to be loved. Carried by Erin Nicole Cline and tied with a score by Christopher Fragale.
Date Night is the final short in an unintentional four part series of “Love Gone Bad”. The three other shorts are available for streaming on 386films.com. Breaking Val (2007), Parting (2008), Simone (2010).
BACKSTORY: After several false starts on various projects with actor, David Fuit, "Date Night" was conceived and shot within a small window on a pizza and beer budget. In fact, principal photography was completed only hours before David boarded a plane heading back to California. For this shoot, 386 put to work their newest edition, the Canon 7D. The camera along with the options of lenses helped add a new dimesion to the story telling they have been craving.
